The wall along Whiteway Bank in Downend is being rebuilt. The road at this part of Downend will be closed from 17th March until 6th June.
A one-way traffic system will be in place, as shown on the plan below.
Narrowcut Lane will be open to 2-way traffic to just beyond Horsley Court. The bottom half of Narrowcut Lane will be 1-way traffic, leading out of Downend.
Traffic travelling to Downend will be channelled down Hollingham Lane. Hollingham Lane will be a one-way system where it is only possible to go down the hill from the B4058. All traffic is to exit through Downend up Narrowcut Lane.
